On the work front, Hrithik Roshan will next be seen in Vikas Bahl's Super 30 Super 30, will showcase the life of Anand Kumar, who trains 30 deserving, economically backward students for IIT-JEE - the entrance exam of IIT - each year, with a commendable success rate.
Talking to a leading tabloid, Anand stated, "I am happy that Hrithik will play me because he is the best choice for the role. His dedication towards his work and the kind of versatility he exhibits as an actor is very inspiring. Being a rooted and passionate person myself, I feel that he will bring an emotional depth to my life on screen. I am excited to see Hrithik as Anand Kumar essaying my emotional journey."
Sources say the film about this mathematics genius from a modest family in Bihar - will go into production from December, to release in time on November 23 next year.
Shibasish Sarkar, Chief Operation Officer, Reliance Entertainment, said in a statement: "Super 30 is a great human story about struggle and inspiration that we want to portray on the big screen. The film will go in production from December and we are sure the audience will appreciate this incredible film when it releases next year."
Kumar is known for his Super 30 programme to help students crack IIT entrance tests.
Kumar is confident it will be a "heartfelt film" and that he has "full faith" in Hrithik's capabilities.
Filmmaker Vikas Bahl met Canada-based psychiatrist Biju Mathew - writer of Super 30 - here and took inputs for his film.
"It was good on the part of Mathew to come and share inputs about Anand Kumar. It will certainly be a great help, as we are doing a lot of research for the film," Bahl said in a statement. Super 30, a biography of Kumar, was released last year.
Mathew said it was a privilege for him to be part of the film on Kumar. "It is indeed wonderful to share my insight and the work that I did for the book," he added.
Recently, Hrithik Roshan attended the special screening of Kalki Koechlin’s Ribbon.
Kalki and Hrithik shared screen space in the film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.
At the screening, Hrithik said, "I am a big fan of Kalki's work and I am very excited about this film because it really promises to be a good one."
Asked what he thinks about Kalki as an actress, he said, "The one thing that stands out about Kalki is that she has her own individuality. She is a thinker and has her own mind. I love the way she interprets a scene because I have worked with her. "She gives it more than what has been asked from her, so it's a pleasure to watch and work with actor like her. It's a pure delight."
Ribbon is about a young urban couple trying to strike a balance between family, life and work, while overwhelmed with the birth of a baby girl. They also find that parenthood comes with its own challenges.
