Anjada Gandhu, which features critically-acclaimed actor Ninaasam Satish in the solo lead role for the first time, has wrapped up the climax shooting recently. The movie is directed by Pradeep Raj and produced jointly by Indrajala Movies, Sharath Combines & Luxon Creations.
Shooting for the movie was going on continuously without any break for the last one month in Mysore and Bangalore. The shooting has been completed in a single schedule without facing any hurdles. Swathi happens to be the female lead of the movie, which also has a powerful star cast of Dattanna, director T S Nagabharana and Raju Talikote.
The movie is based on a rural theme and Satish has been in cast in the typical Mandya villager character. In fact, Satish gained popularity by adopting the Mandya Kannada accent in all his movies. He earned his big break when hit film-maker cast him in all his movies, including the latest blockbuster Drama, in which he was elevated to the lead actor’s role alongside Yash.
Anjada Gandu has a relatively new technical crew – D Inaam has composed the music while Nanjundaswamy is the art director. The cinematographer of the movie is Ramesh while the choreographer is Murali.
The producers – Pradeep Raj, Sharath Kumar and Sadananda – are betting big on Satish’s popularity in the south Karnataka villages. A product of well-known theatre circuit Neenasam, Satish is also risking the success of the movie. It is to be seen if the Kannada film audiences accept him as the hero.
