Cricketers get ready to face the camera

Known faces of the society, making their appearances in a film is not something that is new to see or hear. 

Earlier audience have been witnesses for having seen politicians, industrial icons, sports stars, socialites and many other social icons` appearance on the silver screen. Though certain personalities are already well-known, they always have this inclination towards the big screen and would like to be casted in a movie for some or the other unavoidable reasons. 

Joining this list off late are cricketers Javagal Srinath and Venkatesh Prasad. The fast paced bowlers who were known to send a scare down the batsmen nerves, are now ready to face the camera in the cinematic world. The actor-director Mohan has made this possible by roping in the two former skippers for his upcoming directorial Sachin-Tendulkar Alla

The comedy actor who shows maturity with his directing skills is now directing a socially relevant film and is sure about its acceptance among the audience. "The project that I`ve taken up is not the usual love story or a usual family entertainer with love, drama, comedy and action. Sachin-Tendulkar Alla, is a movie that revolves around an autistic boy who aspires to become a cricketer. 

"Cricket will be emphasized upon in the second half of the movie and the movie will also have the necessary commercial elements. Venkatesh Prasad and Javagal Srinath will play themselves in the movie and will be seen as coaches to the autistic boy," said the director.
Snehit who has already acted in Appu Pappu and Snehitaru will be the lead actor, while Suhasini Manirathnam is said to play the role of his mother in the movie.
