Popular producer CV Kumar debuted as a director with the sci-fi film Maayavan. Though the film received positive reviews, it wasn’t a commercially successful venture. The latest update from CV Kumar is that he has started his second directorial film ‘Gangs of Madras’ yesterday by locking a tune.
Newcomer Hari Dafusia is composing music for Gangs of Madras which is said to be a gangster film loosely based on a real-life female gangster. The principal shoot of the film will go on floors from July and sources say that Daniel Balaji, Kalaiarasan, and Bagavathi Perumal will be seen playing important roles in the film along with a bunch of newcomers. “By the grace of lord Subramanya starting my next directorial venture with recording today . May god lead us to victory . Wish and support friends”, tweeted CV Kumar on Tuesday.
Karthik Kumar will be cranking the camera for Gangs of Madras and Rad Krish is in charge for the cuts. The makers will be soon confirming the rest of the cast and crew.
