Daniel Balaji to essay the character of a Don!

Daniel Balaji, a well known face in Tamil film industry has shot to fame off late as the best onscreen villain. Now, the Chennai based actor has made his remarkable entry in Sandalwood as well. Balaji has worked in almost 18 movies covering Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam languages. The young actor has made his screen presence with big names in the industry like Kamal Haasan, Mammotty, Mohanlal, Surya, Dhanush and many others.

Our sources inform that, though from Chennai, Daniel Balaji has a connection with Karnataka especially Sandalwood. When we wondered what the connection was and asked the actor himself, this is what he had to say, “Yes! I do have a connection with Karnataka and the kannada film industry. My uncle is a well-known director in Sandalwood and he is none other than Mr.Siddalingaiah who has directed the very famous Dr.Rajkumar starrer Bangarada Manushya. I am glad to work here and it’s been fun to work with the team of the movie Shivajinagara.”

Produced by Ramu and directed by P.N.Satya, Shivajingara will see Daniel essaying the character of a powerful don Ali and the son of Ashish Vidyarthi. With Duniya Vijay and Parul Yadav in the lead roles, and Avinash, Pradeep Rawat and Sumithra in significant roles, the action sequences of the movie are composed by Ram Lakshman, Ravi Verma, Ganesh and Phalani Raj. While music composed by Jesse Gift is to be launched very soon, the movie is expected to release during Dusshera time, as it is considered lucky by the producer.
