Darshan has been busy dubbing for his most ambitious venture, the historical film Kranti Veera Sangolli Raayanna produced by Ananda Appugol and directed by Naganna.

Darshan has been taking special care to dub for this film as the dialogues are in the Uththara Karnataka dialect and he does not want to miss out the nuances, which are referred to as "Gandu Bhaashe".

The highlight of this well researched film`s narration is the dialogues. Writer Keshava Audithya has taken special care to write the dialogues which are peculiar to the Kiththoor and Sangolli. A lot of effort has been taken to make the dialogues real and befitting the period of Rayanna, who led a powerful freedom struggle.

The dubbing of all artists except that of Darshan`s is complete. Naganna wanted Darshan to watch the entire film with the dubbing work done by the other artists to get an idea of how to proceed with his work.

Darshan had to change his normal voice as the dialogues required a base voice more often than not. Darshan would report to the dubbing studio by 5.00 in the morning, when Naganna, the dialogue writer Keshava and dubbing engineer would be present.

Darshan`s assistant Mallikarjuna who is now looking after the dates of the actor is also from Gadag of the North Karnataka region.

The result was fantastic and everybody was thrilled to see Darshan`s dubbing skills. Naganna is sure that Darshan`s dubbing would be much discussed after the film`s release. "His efforts would surely pay off. Darshan wants to portray every inch of Sangolli Raayanna, who is one of the most daring freedom fighters of the country, whose patriotic fervour inspires millions of youngsters even today", says Naganna.
