Dhanush learns to master Hindi for Raanjhnaa

Dhanush (Pic: Dhanush in Benares) is currently trying to learn Hindi for his first Hindi film Raanjhnaa with Tanu Weds Manu fame director Aanand L Rai.
The actor, who recently won the National Film Award for his role in Aadukalam, became a household name thanks to Kolaveri Di from his Tamil film 3, which went viral online.
Says Dhanush: “ I must have heard atleast 10 scripts in the last six months before signing on the dotted line for Raanjhnaa. It is the simple story with a vulnerable, ordinary, boy-next-door guy image of the hero, which is tailor-made for me that attracted me to do the film”.
Raanjhnaa is an intense love story and the heroine is not yet fixed. Dhanush being a perfectionist is now on a mission to learn to speak Hindi fluently which he says will be accomplished before the shoot starts in March.
