Pune based model Dimpel Chopade got her first break in Kannada with Sihi Muththu. Though the film's shooting has been completed many months ago, the film is yet to be released.
But the sensuous girl got a break in Kote which was released last Friday and Dimple had come to Bengaluru to address the press meet organised by the producers.
Prajwal Devaraj, the hero of the film and Ravishankar who played the negative character in the film were also present. Both Prajwal and Ravishankar have given strong performances in the film which has opened very well in these times when Kannada films are facing a big crisis in the box office.
Dimple's glamour quotient is another attraction. Dimple went to a few theatres screening Kote to see how the fans have been reacting to her presence in the film. She also participated in a few programmes for television channels.
"I am very happy to be part of this film which was shot mainly in Hubli. I would like to act in more number of Kannada films as I feel this film has been much appreciated by the Kannada film fans. I had a soft role in my first Kannada film, but I got a bolder role in Kote. I just followed the instructions of Sreenivasa Raju sir to essay this role. My hero Prajwal and Ravishankar provided a lot of support", said Dimple.
Dimple feels that working in South Indian films will always be a better proposition for any actor as they will be able to work in some off beat characters.
