All the five Diwali films Attakasam, Dreams, Manmathan, Chatrapathy and Niranja Manasu are censored on Friday November 5. The big news is that Manmathan carries an ‘A’ certificate with some cuts!

The Panchayats in which the distributors, producer and the financier will sit and sort out various vexing financial issues are starting on Monday the eight of November. Two films, Manmathan and Dreams are films which are facing problems, which would be sorted out in the next three days.

In the case of Mamnmathan, the cost had shot up by Rs 2.5 Crore than the original budget and producer Krishnakanth is on a deficit at the time of the film’s release. So the exhibitors and distributors have to cough up some money if the movie has to be released on Diwali.

Simlarly Dreams producer Srikanth and director Kastoori Raja are not on the best of terms. The producer has a deficit of Rs one Crore and again its now up to the director and his son Dhanush to clear the liabilities!

The other releases are all backed by strong production houses and they are sure to sail through.
