Drew Barrymore, who is an accomplished actress, producer and director, is turning a new chapter in her life by launching her own beauty brand at the end of January.
Barrymore said that she is not just starring in the ad campaign or splashing her name on the box but is growing her brand Flower, which will be sold exclusively at Wal-Mart stores.
The development and production of Flower has moved quickly, with Barrymore taking about 18 months to sign the deals with Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and manufacturer Maesa to launch with 181 products, CBS News reported.
She said that as she had spent 5 years as a co-creative director at CoverGirl, she went into the new line with big ideas but realistic expectations.
"I wanted to make a new model with Wal-Mart. I wanted a different business model, I want the money to go into the formula," she added. (ANI)
