Today Mohanlal’s Jeethu Joseph directed mega blockbuster Drishyam is celebrating 100 days in 60 screens in Kerala and rest of India.
The distributor share of the film will be approximately Rs 37 Crores from Kerala theatres alone.
Outside Kerala the film is said to have grossed around Rs 10 Crore, which is phenomenal by any yardstick. It is still running in Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Coimbatore and many other parts of the country. In Chennai the film is celebrating 100 days in three multiplex screens.
Drishyam has collected over Rs 1 Crore in England alone and is rumoured to have done over Rs 4 Crore in the international market. Drishyam is undoubtedly a goldmine and is Malayalam cinema’s biggest ever blockbuster of all times.
