Duniya Vijay had been absent from the silver screen for quite a long time before he made his presence in Jayammana Maga

His long term family issues and few controversies surrounding his marital life had kept him on low profile and the Black Cobra of Sandalwood had his hood in the hiding. But then came Jayammana Maga and Duniya Vijay`s stars started shining bright.

With the success of Jayammana Maga which was also Vijay`s maiden home production, the Duniya star got back his lost fame and found good vibes in the industry.

Duniya Vijay then went on a signing spree and signed more than 3 films at a time. While he has finished his work for Shivajinagara and awaiting the release, he is currently shooting for the action packed Cobra, which is being produced by Maheen. Vijay, who celebrated his birthday a month ago, also signed a remake movie titled Jackson and the movie was launched on his birthday.

Now, if the reports are to be believed, then the just launched movie`s dubbing rights have been sold to a Bollywood filmmaker. The amount for which the dubbing rights have been brought by the Hindi filmmaker is a whopping sum of Rs 14 lakhs, which is probably the highest for any of Vijay`s movies.

Jackson which is said to be a remake of the Tamil super hit Idharkuthane Aasaippattai Balakumara, had Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role. The Kannada remake will see Duniya Vijay and Pavana of Gombegala Love fame as the lead actors.
