The Ramzan films are all releasing today (Oct 12), all over Kerala. Four films that releases today are - Nasarani, Chocolate, Black Cat and Pardesi.

The most eagerly awaited among the lot is Mammootty's Nasarani which has been censored on Thursday and is releasing on Friday (Oct 12) at exactly 2.03 pm in the afternoon in nearly 55 screens in Kerala. Joshy the director of the film has insisted on following the advice given by his astrologers! There is huge expectation from Mammootty's fans as he is playing an Adipoli Achayan character David John Kottarathil, and should rock!

Mohanlal fans are on a low key as Pardesi is expected to be an off-beat "award padam'. But the die-hard fans are waiting for a stunning performance from the Master! The film is releasing in 35 screens in Kerala and is Pyramid Saimira's first foray into Kerala.

The trade feels the Pritviraj- Roma-Jaisurya starrer Chocolate, directed by Shafi may turn out to be the dark horse. The film is an out and out Shafi style comedy with peppy music and is targetted at the youth audiences. The film is releasing in 42 centres in Kerala.

The Malayalam film industry is hoping that the Ramzan releases bring some relief to the draught season, especially after the Onam flop show!
