We caught the actor at Mumbai's Haji Ali Dargah, where he offered prayers for his film's success.
Ek Thi Daayan has been a challenge for Emraan. Not only did he have to play second fiddle to three women, but the film also made him re-evaluate his beliefs.
"The film drained me mentally and physically. There were nights I'd return home from shoot and couldn't sleep," said Emraan.
"I started believing in the supernatural and reading about it. It's quite dark, but I've come to believe that all matters are occult until they are understood, whereby they become science!"
Smart stance to take, Emraan.
