India’s finest art director Sabu Cyril has completed a major portion of the climax of Sun Pictures Endhiran, at a location behind a major entertainment complex on the ECR, in Chennai.

Sabu’s set is reported to have cost around Rs 5 crore, the most expensive set ever put up for a Tamil film! Sabu is known for his innovative methods using new materials for film sets.

In the Rajinikanth- Aishwarya Rai Endhiran directed by Shankar, Sabu is using aluminum composite panel (ACP), for creating the sets. It is the first film in India to use ACP to create eco friendly sets, which unlike wood can be recycled and cost also only one third of wood.
