“No love is greater than that of a father for his son, “is a famous quote.

It is once again proved in real life with Mammootty paving way for his son Dulquer Salmaan’s film’s release.

Mammootty’s Kadal Kadannu Oru Maathukutty (KKOM) was scheduled to release for Ramzan on August 9 along with his son Dulquer’s  Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi (NPCB). Now Mammootty has decided to sacrifice the Ramzan date for his son and will release his Kadal Kadannu Oru Maathukutty a week later on August 15.

Dulquer versus Mammootty at the kerala box-office!

Ramzan is a big festival date in Kerala. Over the years Mammootty’s Ramzan releases found huge acceptance among the audiences.  Remember the megastar’s biggest blockbuster Anwar Rasheed’s Rajamanikyam was released during Ramzan 2005.

Mammootty went out of his way and convinced his KKOM distributor Prithviraj’s August Cinema to push the release date by a week. Prithviraj was more than willing as he has Memories releasing for Ramzan.

The Ramzan releases on August 8/9  now scheduled are  Prithviraj’s Memories, Dulquer’s Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi (NPCB) and Kunchacko Boban’s Pulipuliyum Attinkuttiyum.
