FEFSI strike comes to an end?

The strike of FEFSI (Film Employees Federation of South India) has come to an end after a four hours negotiation with Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC).

FEFSI announced the strike on September 1 as TFPC tried to hire non FEFSI members including visual communication students. Following FEFSI strike, more than 30 films including Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kaala and Suriya’s Thaanaa Serndha Koottam were affected.

Last night, members of TFPC and FEFSI had a long debate by exchanging issues exists on both the sides. RK Selvamani, President of FEFSI said that nearly 90% of the problems have been sorted out.

Selvamani also clarified that the proposed strike and a huge protest at Valuvar Koottam have been postponed
