A major strike is brewing in Kollywood.
Talks between Film Employees Federation of South India (FEFSI) and Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) over wages and working hours has been going on for some days
An emergency meeting was convened in Chennai on Friday (June 3) to sort out the issue on an emergency basis.
But talks between FEFSI and TFPC broke down after the latter said that only a newly constituted TFPC can take a final call on it.
Meanwhile FEFSI members want the issue regarding increase in salary to be sorted out immediately.
The FEFSI workers may stop shooting of films in Chennai from Monday. Already all shooting of Tamil films in Chennai scheduled for Monday has been cancelled.
