Today RK Selvamani, President of Film Employees Federation of South India(FEFSI) has announced that their members will join shoot from tomorrow (Aug 4) and their strike against TFPC has been withdrawn.
“We have taken this decision after consulting with executive members of various workers’ union of FEFSI. If needed, TFPC’s President Vishal will hold talks on Monday but our members are returning to the shoot tomorrow on trust basis”, said RK Selvamani.
FEFSI had earlier announced their strike on August 1 after TFPC denied to settle the already agreed wages to the workers to reduce the production cost of small and mid-budget films. Following the request of senior actors like Superstar Rajinikanth, FEFSI has now withdrawn their strike, which is indeed a happy news for the Tamil film industry.
