After names of Nayanthara and Trisha were tossed around, now actor-director Thiagarajan who holds the remake rights of Kangana Ranaut's Queen is back in the news.
Now, in a recent media interaction he confirmed that talks are on with Tamannaah for the Tamil remake of Queen. Remember that Thyagarajan was even willing to pay Nayanthara an unheard of Rs 10 Crore to bring her on board but the actress who is busy with multiple projects politely refused!
Actress Revathy who will be directing this remake along with Suhasini who is penning the dialogues also met Nayan to rope her in. Later Trisha almost signed the project but again, due to a lot of issues the actress backed out! And now, Tamannaaah has been signed up to do the remake of this 2014 blockbuster hit.
Apart from Queen, Tamannaah is also said to be approached to do another remake of recent Telugu hit rom-com and if all goes well, one can soon expect an official announcement.
Tamannaah seems to be in demand and is getting solid characters to prove her acting prowess in films like Baahubali, Dharma Durai and Devi.
