Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega (2000) — Pooja Oberoi
Yep, those were the times when most heroines were named Pooja and most heroes were Raj. Ditto this film where Raj (Salman Khan) comes from Goa to Mumbai dreaming of becoming a singer and making it big in the music world. Rani Mukherjee plays rich kid Pooja Oberoi who is saved by Raj from an accident. However, she is injured and falls into a coma.
Her wealthy family mistakes Raj to be her lover, and sensing an opportunity of realizing his dreams, he too plays along. At their insistence, he even takes to living with them. But soon he meets and genuinely falls for Jahnavi (Preity Zinta). And surprise, surprise, Pooja and Jahnavi turn out to be best friends, best represented in the song Piya Piya, where the two prance around in matching clothes. While the song got noticed, the film did nothing to exploit Mukherjee’s talent.
