Fresh trouble for ‘2.0’ producers

Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) has sent a legal notice to the producers of ‘2.0’ as they feel that the trailer of the film itself showcasing cell phone network towers and mobile phones in a bad light. 

The association has also requested the Central Board of Film Certification to revoke the certificate given for the film. The irony is that '2.0' producers Lyca is a prime mobile network in European countries. 

In the trailer, Akshay Kumar’s character says that every mobile phone users are committing an offensive crime. Directed by Shankar, the film also has Rajinikanth, Amy Jackson, Sudhanshu Pandey, and Adil Hussain in important roles.

Produced by Lyca at a massive budget of Rs 550 crore rupees, ‘2.0’ is the most expensive film ever produced in the history of Indian cinema. The film is all set to release in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi on November 29
