Now that Aadi Masam is over, traditional producers in Kollywood will be coming out with their films.

For the next few weeks there will be atleast three to four Tamil releases a week.

 AVM’s low budget Mudhal Idam, which has an English tagline saying First Place is releasing, along with the talked about Vengayam, a film against superstition and godmen.

The other release is the regular soft porn En Ullam Unne Thedithe.

From Hollywood there are three big releases in different genres along with their Tamil dubbings. All the three are in 3D- Final Destination 5, Fright Night and Spy Kids which claims to be in 4D ?

The highly hyped Ram Gopal Varma’s Not a love story, based on the real life incident is opening in nine screens in Hindi and a few screens in Tamil.

Meanwhile Rowdiram, last week’s big release has been dumped by the multiplexes to the smallest screen and limited shows.
 
Kanchana still continues its hold along with Deivathirumagal during the weekends.
