Friday Fury - September 7

After the August record of new Tamil releases, the first Friday of September sees five straight films and two dubbed releases. 

The five new Tamil releases are Arakkonam, Gokulam, Mannar, Paagan and Kalla Parunthu. Most of them have limited screens and shows and few of them are not releasing in multiplexes.

The two dubbed films are Telugu star Ram Charan Teja`s debut film directed by Puri Jagganath Chirutha (2007) which is dubbed in Tamil as Siruthaipuli and  releasing in 19 screens. The other Tamil film dubbed into Tamil and releasing today is the Thai film Tekken dubbed as Marana Adi and featuring Maaveeran Tony Jaa and Athiradiveeran John Fu.

The big Hindi release is Mukesh Bhatt`s Raaz 3D, starring Imran Hashmi and Bipasha Basu. The film is releasing big in 19 screens in Chennai via Ramanarayanan`s Thenandal Films. A small multiplex release is Chal Pichchur Banate Hain.

In Telugu Nagarjuna`s religious Shirdi Sai released yesterday (Sep 6) in 27 screens. Woody Allen`s To Rome with Love is having limited multiplex release.
