Gautham Vasudev Menon, did the best thing possible. Last night he tweeted about his forthcoming films and their status quo. He seems to be on cloud nine. Gautham who rarely uses social media networking, this time through Twitter, explained in detail his future moves.
The audio of his multi-lingual Nee Thaane En Ponvasantham (NEP) which has soul,stirring music by Ilayaraja will releaseits audio in July. The film will release in August or September,after adjusting dates so as to avoid a clash with a biggie like Suriya’s Maatran.
Gautham’s next home production too is ready to start rolling. Aravaan fame Karthik is the music director of the film which has now got a title. Gautham says, “Tamil selvanum Thaniyaar Anjalum is a great script, to be directed by Prem Sai, a former associate of Prabhu Deva”.Om Prakash will be the cinematographer while the Gautham regular Rajeevan will handle art. The film also stars Santhanam and VTV Ganesh.
Apparently, Jai and Richa Gangopadhyaya will be doing the Tamil version while Nithin will be taking up Jai’s role in Telugu with Richa.The Telugu version will tentatively be titled Courier Boy Kalyan. This should as hot in the arm for Richa who has not signed on any Tamil projects after Osthe.The shoot will begin on June 14th for both the versions.
Gautham also had a word of praise for Ram the director of Thanga Meengal which he is producing and has music by Yuvan. Gautham tweeted: “ Thanga Meengal is poetic and a classic, will release soon. Ram is a brilliant director.”
Not only that, Gautham also plans to start shooting with Ilayathalapathy Vijay for Yohan in July. Gautham tweeted:“ Yohan will start filming in July, can't wait myself. It's action all the way.”
