The trade winds are that Gautham Menon-Suriya project Dhruva Nakshthram will not shine and has been put on the hold. In an interview Suriya had said that he is signed up for the project but can’t say when it will take off. He also added that "the script needs some more working on".
And late on Monday night Gautham Menon tweeted: “And don't write me off as yet guys. No speculation needed. Coming your way, from Suriya and myself, a good Tamil film. At least we think so.”
Meanwhile the trade feels Suriya is going to start work on Lingusamy’s project from August. He normally never does two films at a time. Suriya by saying that Gautham’s script is being re-worked, is giving him more time to get his finances ready. Gautham is depending on a big Madurai financier to bail him out.
