Ghibran never takes success and failure to his head but the talented music composer is overwhelmed by the appreciation he is getting for Aramm and Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru. “I’m getting random phone calls from people highlighting my work in the film. Maybe, if I had tasted the success in the beginning of my career, would’ve been more conscious but now I’m calm and composed”, says Ghibran.

Ghibran’s background score in Aramm and Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru has been getting rave appreciation in each and every review, the composer actually learned background score and completed his degree in Singapore. “I had a contact in Hans Zimmer’s Remote Control Studios and to work with the composer, one should complete graduation degree in background score but somehow, it didn’t happen”, he explains.

Ghibran says he would get lost if a director didn’t explain him the situation properly and the backstory of the characters. “I would go blank if someone approaches me and say that they want four love songs and one duet, many such instances happened in Telugu”, smiles Ghibran.

Ghibran has locked the songs in Vishwaroopam 2 and he also completed the background score for the trailer. “Though the music Uttama Villain, Papansam and Thoongaa Vanam are out, Vishwaroopam 2 is a close-to-heart project for me because it’s my first film with Kamal sir”, says the composer.

“I personally looking forward to listening to the classical track sung by Kamal sir and Kaushiki Chakraborty (daughter of Ajoy Chakraborty). I can’t wait to lock the final mix and hear the final output myself”, adds an excited Ghibran.

"The way Kamal sir explains each and every situation, the detailing he has for his characters and the references he gives would inspire any composer but you should be updated with him", he explains on working with Kamal Haasan.

Ghibran reveals that there is an extended version of Yar Endru Therigiratha in Vishwaroopam 2 penned by National Award winning lyricist Vairamuthu.  The talented music composer also debuts as a producer with Chennai 2 Singapore, “It will be a wacky film, we recently premiered it to audiences in Singapore and the response has given us a great confidence”, he says.

Ghibran’s next immediate release is Maayavan on December 14, he is currently working on multiple films including Ithu Vedhalam Sollum Kadhai, Raatchasan, Aan Devathai and Odi Odi Uzhaikanum.
