With two consecutive super hits in a row, Hansika is slowly but steadily asserted her position as the numero uno heroine in Kollywood. She started 2013 with Settai an average grosser followed by back to back super hits Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru (TVSK) and Singam-2.
A born diva, Hansika exudes an aura of confidence, innocence and glamour. Quiz all her directors- Prabhu Deva, Rajesh, Sundar C or Hari, they all swear, she is an amazing artist to work with, who is hardworking, disciplined and non-controversial.
And today, (July 15) Hansika is at home in Mumbai spending time with her family as it is her mom Mona’s birthday. She confesses that along with her brother Prashanth, she is taking her mom out for lunch and to surprise her, has invited some of her close friends too.
Hansika said : “My mom loves bags and so I picked up a limited edition designer bag on my way back from Bangkok and gifted her”. From the restaurant Hansika is going straight to the airport to catch the late afternoon flight to Chennai. She is starting another schedule of her Venkat Prabhu directed Biriyani from July 16.
During the weekend she caught up with Farhan Akhtar’s Bhaag Milka Bhaag, and can’t stop raving about it. Says Hansika : “ I loved the film and Farhan’s outstanding performance in it.”
