Happy birthday to Tamannaah

Tamannaah celebrates her birthday today (Dec 21).

Speaking to sify.com Tammu said: “ Its been a wonderful year for me and I am very lucky to be with my family in Mumbai. I just realized that I worked for almost 325 days in 2011? It was memorable year as I travelled extensively to some of the exotic places in the world for my shoots “

The Sindhi girl from Lokhandwala in Andheri, Mumbai, after being the highest paid actress in Tamil cinema had everything going her way in Tamil, but for some strange reasons decided to concentrate in Telugu.

Tamannaah has the right looks, is a mix of glamour and girl-next-door, attitude, is a complete professional, disciplined and above all has an awesome success ratio. In 2011 she had five releases two in Tamil and three in Telugu.

Among them, her Siruthai in Tamil is one of the biggest hits and in Telugu 100% love,Badrinath and Oosaravelli were biggie opposite top heroes which were hits.

And today, she is in Mumbai with her family celebrating her birthday. The actress plans to visit a Ganesha temple and have a bash in the evening with close friends. Adds Tammu: “A hectic year but one of the best. I have enough reasons to celebrate and I am so happy”

And what is she gifting herself this year on her birthday? “I am yet to buy anything. Planning to go out later in the day and pick up something for myself. I am quite excited about the evening bash at a place near my house, where a few of my friends from the industry who are in Mumbai will join me”.
