Hrithik Roshan and his dad Rakesh Roshan flew down to Chennai on Monday (Nov 11) afternoon for promoting their mega hit Krrish 3. The distributor of the film Shibu of Thameens and Sathyam Cinemas played host for this quick visit.

There was a huge crowd waiting outside the Sathyam Cinemas to get a glimpse of the very popular Bollywood icon. Hrithik got almost mobbed by the huge crowd and had to be escorted by police and his security men. The crowd who thronged to have a glimpse of Hrithik were mainly females and children.
The trailer of Krrish 3 was shown at the success meet, followed by some speeches and press interaction with the Roshan’s. Rakesh Roshan said he was extremely happy with Krrish 3’s performance in Tamil Nadu and Kerala, where it was pitted against Tamil Diwali releases. Said Rakesh Roshan : “The response in TN is very good, we have increased the number of screens in the second week from 67 to 93.”
The crowd inside the auditorium went crazy when Hrithik spoke. The actor started off saying “Chennai I love you, Vanakkam”, which floored the audiences. Hrithik said he is overwhelmed with the kind of reception he received in Chennai. He also said that he will be having Tamil characters in his next film.
Thiru, the cameraman of Krrish 3, said that the Roshan’s are the most professional people he has worked with, and also talked about their dedication. He also said that the film’s special effects were on par with Hollywood films.
Vijay’s manager PT Selvakumar, was also present and said that actually Vijay wanted to come and meet Hrithik, but he is busy shooting for Jilla outside the city in Chengalpet. He said Shibu of Thameens had arranged a special show of Krrish 3 for Vijay and his family, and they thoroughly enjoyed the film
