Biju Menon is one of the key factors in most successful films during recent times. 2012 has been a wonderful year for him, with blockbusters like Ordinary, Mayamohini, Mallu Singh and Run Baby Run setting the box office ringing in a big way. His flair for comedy has been well appreciated by all. With two releases, 101 Weddings and Chettayees in quick succession, he is in the news.

Here is a quick chat with the actor...

How was it making Chettayees?

It was fun and we enjoyed the process of making the film. I was mainly involved in the story development stages. Though I am one of the producers, that side was handled by more experienced people like P Sukumar and Shajoon Kariyal.

You are having a dream run. What is your feeling like?
The success of the films is indeed exciting. When we get accepted, when the film collects good money and when the producer makes money, you tend to feel elated as an actor.

Your humorous roles are a rage with the viewers now.
The interesting thing is that I have not done comedy in any of these films. People laugh, as the situations are funny. Still, I am aware that the viewers now want more humour in my films right now.

You have played a hero, villain and many supporting roles. Are you happy with the way your career has developed?
Absolutely. See, films happened to me just by chance. I have always been attracted by the dedication that the filmmakers that I have worked with gives to their films.
