I am destiny’s child: Amala Paul

Even before she can settle her nerves after returning from Iceland where she was shooting for a song with the hot ‘n’ happening young star Ram Charan Teja, she joined the Nimirndhu Nil  unit.

Her Malayalam film Run Baby Run opposite Mohanlal is not only a hit but her performance is being appreciated and plenty of offers are coming her way.

She’s aware that an actor is put on the pedestal one day and thrashed the next given a hit or flop. And she knows how to tide that. She is now scorching the screens with youngsters like Jayam Ravi, Charan and Nani in Tamil and Telugu. 

She justifies: “When I started my career I didn’t know anything about film making and I was too young to understand the craft. I learnt a lot from my co-stars especially Mohanlal about fine acting and I’m still learning”.

On whether she will be Vijay’s heroine in her good friend AL Vijay’s films, Amala justifies with a straight face: “ I believe in destiny. Can’t figure out why this hue and cry about me doing this particular film? I am very professional and if the director feels that the character suits me, and my dates are free I will be definitely doing it”.

And recently, Amala has become a crusader against corruption.  The pretty actress is fighting corruption by joining  5th Pillar, a new anti-corruption movement.

Amala has made a short video and posted it on youtube where she talks about anti-corruption efforts of the organization. In the video, Amala appeals to fans and fellow citizens on unleashing their individual power towards nation building.
