Urvashi Chaudhary is a well known name for Hindi, Bhojpuri and Punjabi audience. This ex-Miss Chandigarh started her career with modelling and, very soon, became a household name thanks to her appearance in several Punjabi music videos.

Urvashi started her career in Bhojpuri industry just last year with the film Balma 420. Recently, we had a talk with her on her forthcoming films and her career.

Please tell us about your career?

Well, I started my career as a model in Chandigarh. After I became Miss Chandigarh, I got several offers for working in Punjabi music videos, which made me very popular among the audience. Later, Devanandji took me to Bollywood with his film Retake. I also did Mr Prime Minister, Ishq Na Karna, Om Shanti, and several other Hindi films.

Please tell us about your Bhojpuri film Bhojpuria Don?

Bhojpuria Don is based on a very nice story, where I am playing the lead role opposite Manoj Tiwari. The film is ready for release and I think audience will love it.

What do you say about vulgar scenes in your films?

If the story demands, I don't have any problem doing kissing scenes and others. But, it should not look bad or cheap on screen. How can I indulge in vulgarity that will lower the honour of my parents?

Tell us about your forthcoming films?

As I told you, my next film Bhojpuria Don is ready for release. Apart from this, I am working with several other films as well.

What is your ultimate goal?

I want to do roles that can make a long term impression in the minds of viewers.

Message for your fans?

I am no one without my fans. I would like to thank all my fans for making me what I am right now. If they continue to support me like this, I will be able to perform up to their expectations.
