Tamannaah who has been missing in Kollywood for over a year now, made a quick visit to Chennai last week to announce winners to a contest conducted by Fanta, for whom she is the brand ambassador.
The actor is on a roll in Telugu after her hit film Rachcha opposite Ram Charan Tej and has two more Telugu films in hand with Prabhas and Pawan Kalyan. But what’s going to be keeping her super busy is her re-entry into Hindi films after a long gap, with Sajid Khan’s Himmatwala.
The film is a remake of the 1983 super hit starring Jeetendra and Sridevi and Tamannaah has bagged the role opposite Ajay Devgn in the remake.
The posters of the film are out and Tamannaah looks gorgeous in them. Ajay Devgn is on a roll with films like Singam and Bol Bachchan having been super hits in the recent past, so things couldn’t get better for Tamannaah with the film she has bagged.
However, does this mean that her fans in the South have to bid farewell to her? “Not at all,” says Tamannaah, who is excited about her Hindi flick but is determined to dig in her heels firmly in the South, just as before.
Speaking to Sify.com, she says, “I will very much continue with my Tamil and Telugu films. I am not going anywhere. I will be in south!”
With her penchant for juggling busy schedules between her Tamil and Telugu flicks in the past, we are sure, Tammu will continue her juggling act and balance all the industries she has chosen to be a part of, with aplomb!
