The film has been in the news for its long delay. Director Lawrence has now almost wrapped up the shoot. The film went to the sets over a year ago.

"At present, we are filming a song on Prabhas and Tamannaah at a special set erected at Annapoorna Studios. With this song, the shoot comes to an end," said producers J Baghavan and J Pullarao.

First look stills and posters are out now. Lawrence himself composes the songs for the movie. Rebel stars Tamannaah and Deeksha Seth as the female leads.

The film is expected to hit the screens in September.
