Blue's making a lot of waves - and not just because it's got over 40 sharks sharing frames with the actors. The film also boats of substantial portions shot under water and an entire song filmed under the sea.
"It's [shooting a song underwater] never been done before," says Zayed Khan. "On the concept level itself, it sounds too outrageous. The entire cast singing in the deep sea. That's unique, man!"
However, shooting underwater was not a day at the beach for the actors. "When you train as a SCUBA student, you go till a maximum of 35-40 feet," says Zayed. "But when we trained for the film, we had to dive down to 85-90 feet - deep enough to get actual shots of weed and sunken ships. It was scary."
But now that the scary parts are over, and the film is due to release, we can't wait for our first look. Until then, feast your eyes on these underwater pictures.
