'Imaikkaa Nodigal' gets ready

The long-awaited psycho-thriller film ‘Imaikkaa Nodigal’ has been censored with UA certificate.

The producers of the film are now planning for a theatrical release on August 30. Directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu, Nayanthara plays a CBI officer named Anjali in the film and Vijay Sethupathi plays her husband. Atharvaa is said to be Nayanthara’s brother in the film and Bollywood actor Anurag Kashyap plays the deadly psychotic villain.

Only yesterday, Nayanthara’s Kolammavu Kokila opened with positive reviews and in two weeks, fans of the actress will get to see her in full action mode in Imaikkaa Nodigal.

Produced by Cameo Films India, the film also has Raashi Khanna playing Atharvaa’s romantic interest and Hiphop Tamizha is composing the music for the film.

While Imaikkaa Nodigal will hit the screens on August 30 (Thursday), Vikram Prabhu’s emotional drama 60 Vayadu Maaniram, and ‘Attakathi’ Dinesh’s political satire Annanukku Jai are scheduled to release on the traditional Friday (August 31).
