Ugramm’s success has definitely boosted Haripriya’s career graph. The actress, who made her Sandalwood debut with Manasugala Maatu Madhura in 2008, took almost 5 years to prove herself.
The actress, who made her tinsel town debut with a Tulu movie Badi, did not confine herself to just one industry. She has acted in a couple of movies in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam as well.
2014 release Ugramm did wonders to Haripriya. The actress now has three big banner movies lined up- Ranna, Rikki and Ranathantra. Along with these, she has signed her fourth project Bullet Basya, opposite comedian-turned-actor Sharan.
Haripriya has been chosen to play the second lead, opposite Sudeep, in his upcoming movie Ranna. Ranna, which is the official remake of Telugu movie Attarintiki Daredi will see Haripriya essaying the role of what Praneetha had played in the original.
Her second big banner movie, Rikki, stars Rakshit Shetty of Ulidavaru Kandante fame in the lead role.
The movie, written and directed by Rakshit Shetty’s brother Rishab Shetty, is one of the most expected Ranatantra, on the other hand is gearing up for release in which she plays the role of Vijay Raghavendra’s love interest.
However, the release date of the film is yet to be confirmed by the makers of the movie.
Shooting of Bullet Basya, with Sharan is also expected to start from November second week, which will be produced by Jayanna under Jayanna Combines and will be directed by Jayatheertha of Olave Mandara fame.
With these big releases lined up, Haripriya is sure to have a rocking year ahead.
