The first look of Veena Malik's new film Supermodel was released recently and the poster of the film bears a clear resemblance to Poonam Pandey's provocative Nasha poster. Veena Malik claims it is original though.
"I want to start by saying that look and sequences are normally copied by other films, but I think this is the first time when our film's poster has been copied. You have probably seen it in the Nasha (poster)," Veena said.
"When people start copying you at the start of your career, you feel kind of happy that people are copying you. So our poster has already been copied and I hope our film's sequences are safe till its release. After the release if someone copies our scenes, it would probably be a great honour for us," she said.
The director of Supermodel, Navin Batra, also claims they have proof that their design is original.
When contacted, Nasha director Amit Saxena said: "The posters of Nasha were designed six-seven months back. I don't know why they woke up now. The digital posters were released almost seven months back. In fact, our designs were ready a year back, so there is no question of copying."
What do you think? Who is guilty of copying the other?
