On All Fool’s Day, comedian Vadivelu’s comeback vehicle Jagajala Pujabala Tenaliraman audio was launched at Prasad Lab. The entire cast and crew of the film took part in the audio launch including music director D Imman.
Remember, Vadivelu was forced to take a sabbatical after 2011 assembly elections in which he campaigned for the DMK and made scathing attack against DMDK’s Vijaykanth, which was then an ally of AIADMK.
At the press meet Vadivelu made it clear that he learned his lessons in dabbling in politics, and now he wants only to concentrate on films. Vadivelu said : “ There has been quite a few offers, but I wanted to come back with a King Kong project that will create an impact. I think Tenaliraman is the right film for me at the moment.”
Yuvaraj the director of the film said: “I have spent two years with Vadivelu sir during the making of the film and it was a pleasure working with him. The film belongs to Vadivelu who plays a dual role – that of a king and one of his ministers.”
Vadivelu said he is looking forward to doing more films in future and refused to answer questions pertaining to politics. In fact he pleaded with the media to stay away from political questions.
