Jayam Ravi: No one believed when we announced 'Tik Tik Tik' as a space-based film

Speaking at the audio launch of India's first space-based film Tik Tik Tik, Jayam Ravi said:"When Shakti and I announced Tik Tik Tik as a space-based film, no one believed us. They told us that making films like Interstellar and Gravity is not possible in India. But today, everyone is raving about the trailer".

"Hats off to everyone in the team include me" smiled Ravi and lauded the film's art director Moorthy. "When I visited the sets of Tik Tik Tik, got the confidence that as a team, we can pull of this film",added Ravi.

"Our film's heroine Nivetha has a bright future. She suffered a lot of injuries by performing risky stunts. I would suggest you to properly channelize and streamline your films", said the actor.

On his son Aarav's debut, proud dad Ravi said that at one point, he was amazed by his dedication. "I never seen Aarav sitting in one place at home but he patiently watched everyone's performance on the sets, he even corrected me in a few scenes", praised Ravi.

The film's heroine Nivetha Pethuraj said "I believe that Tik Tik Tik will be a turning point in my career. As everyone pointed out, the art department has done a brilliant job".

Everyone who spoke at the event praised Imman's consistency in Tamil cinema, Tik Tik Tik is the composer's 100th album. "When I asked director Shakti whether the release date January 26is possible, he told me that we have Imman on board so things are on track".

Director Shakti Soundarajan revealed that the entire CG work is done by Ajax studios in Chennai. "After the trailer, many Mumbai based production houses are asking about the contact details of the CG team, they will go places for sure", said the director.

Produced by Hitesh Jhabak, Tik Tik Tik is slated for release on January 26.
