Jayam Ravi's Adangamaru talks about sexual against women

Director Karthik Thangavel says that in his debut Tamil film Adangamaru, he talks about the need of stringent punishment against sexual harassment. Jayam Ravi plays an upright police officer who faces a lot of hurdles in his personal and professional life because of his straightforward attitude in Adangamaru.

Karthik Thangavel says that as Ravi had also essayed the role of sincere police officer before, he was careful to not bring back any similar flavor. Raashi Khanna plays Ravi's romantic interest in the film.

"Unlike the usual heroines who are not aware of the happenings in the society, Raashi's character will be sensible and she plays an interior designer in the film", says Karthik who completed major portions of the film in Chennai city.
