Actor Jayasurya, who has been keeping a low profile for sometime now, is all set to bounce back with some nice projects. The actor had tasted success with films like Beautiful and Triandrum Lodge during recent years but the films were criticized for its “bold content”.
Also, the films started his friendship with scenarist and actor Anoop Menon, but the duo tasted failures one after the other with films like David & Goliath, Hotel California, Namukku Parkkan and D Company.
Jayasurya, who was regarded as the next big thing among the young crop of heroes earlier, suddenly lost his charm and has been struggling with more disasters like Kunjaliyan and 101 Weddings.
Now, he is banking on the release of Philips & the Monkey Pen and Punyalan Agarbathis. He insists that the films have “clean humour”, which could be after all the flak he was targeted to following his “new generation experiments”.
Jayasurya is currently shooting for Aneesh Upasana's Seconds. He will do films with Boban Samuel, Vyshakh and Madhav Ramadasan in the coming months.
