Jiiva’s noble gesture

Jiiva is an actor with a heart of gold. He has adopted 18-year old Rajapandi who belongs to socially and economically backward ‘narikurava’ community.

Rajapandian, a hard working student had scored 1167 out of 1200 marks in Plus 2 examination. He needed financial assistance to fulfil his aspirations of becoming a doctor.

After reading newspaper reports about the bright students plight Jiiva decided to help him out financially. Says Jiiva : “ I was deeply impressed by Aamir Khan’s TV show Satyameva Jayate, and thought a small act like adopting a student’s education could help to make a difference in society.”

Well done Jiiva, you are a role model for others to follow.
