Jayam Ravi, Nivin Pauly and Samantha react to the horrific rape incident

The heartbreaking incident that happened in Jammu and Kashmir to an eight-year-old has triggered celebrities to create awareness and pressurize the Government to take strict action against the three criminals. Although Bollywood celebrities started this awareness campaign, ‘Jayam’ Ravi was the first one in Kollywood to talk about the injustice happened to the poor kid.

Posting the pic of the girl, Ravi tweeted “Another innocent succumbs.. shameful day for this country!We have lost our humanity to the decimal point”. 

A lot of young actors in South has slowly started talking about this cruelty, Nivin Pauly said: “Extremely saddened to know that humans are capable of going to any extent of torture. I was tearing up thinking about the pain endured by the 8-year-old and her family. Are we heading towards a morally bankrupt society? It's time that we all stand as one unified soul and do our bit. if her innocence doesn't tremble our souls, Nothing will! My heart goes out to her family in this hour of grief”.

Varalakshmi who has been strongly registering her voice against the injustice happening to women community said “Once side you have people protesting for water.On the other side, you have an 8-year old that has been gang-raped and killed. Who are breeding these monsters..? What are we doing wrong..?Is there no hope ..? Where is the justice..? What's laws are we living by..? Is this the kind of world we want our children to grow in?? Until and unless the punishment for any kind of rape or any sexual crime is either death or castration this bloody world with never stop #violatingwomensrights”.

Trisha has posted a heartbreaking emoji. Samantha posted a report from New York Times and wrote: ”All this makes you wonder if there really is a God”.
