Justin Bieber has apologized to his fans after he turned up nearly two hours late for his London concert.
The 19-year-old teen heartthrob was scheduled to take the stage at London's O2 Arena at 8:30 pm but finally appeared around 10:20 pm.
The 'baby' hitmaker has issued a lengthy apology on his Twitter account, saying that the curtain time was pushed back to 9:35 pm and finally appeared 40 minutes late and not 2 hours as reported due to "some technical issues," the New York Post reported.
"Last night I was scheduled after 3 opening acts to go on stage at 935 not 830 but because of some technical issues I got on at 10:10..so...I was 40 min late to stage," he tweeted.
Bieber also wrote to his 35 million followers, "there is no excuse for that and I apologize for anyone we upset. However it was great show and I'm proud of that."
Several outlets picked up on fan anger following his late showing at the Monday night concert.
According to the Sun, weeping concert-goers, some as young as five-years-old, had gone home with their parents before Bieber showed. (ANI)
