'Kalabhairava' to commence shooting for songs

Shooting for action star Yogi’s next project, Kalabhairava is almost complete and shooting for 4 pending songs will commence soon.

The songs will be shot in various parts of Karnataka. There are as many as five tracks in the movie and shooting for one of them is complete.

Produced by Thammaiah-Kumaresh Babu under the banner Sri Jai Bhuvaneshwari Arts, Kalabhairava, is set in a village and Yogi plays the role of a village leader.

The movie recently made news because its female lead, Akhila Kishore, a fresher, collapsed on the sets after hearing that her pet dog had died. Shooting had to be halted for a few days, as the actress stayed away from the movie. Akhila debuted in Kannada earlier this year through Pade Pade.



Kalabhairava is a tailor-made project for Yogi, who is at the pinnacle of his career in Sandalwood. Yogi had three back-to-back hits since 2012. Since then, movies based on rural themes are flooding Yogi. The actor is the nephew is renowned actor Duniya Vijay.

The movie is directed by Shivaprabhu and Jassiegift is the music composer. While Nageshwar Rao is the cinematographer, Ravi Verma is the stunt choreographer.

The star cast includes Rangayana Raghu, Mesthri Babu, Sharath Lohitashwa, Suchendra Prasad, Malavika and Sadhu Kokila.
