When Kamal Haasan’s Vishwaroopam was banned in Tamil Nadu, Rajinikanth sent an open letter to express his support to his good friend. But in his today’s meet with Karnataka Chief Minister Kumaraswamy, Kamal Haasan refused to talk about the ban issued for Rajinikanth’s Kaala in the state. To a question, Mr. Kumaraswamy said, “We did not discuss anything about the Rajinikanth-starrer Kaala. That is related to the Film Chamber.”

Kamal said that his meet with the CM is not to talk about cinema. The pointed to be noted here is, Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce announced that theaters in the state will not be screening both Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth’s films as they have spoken against the interest of Kannada people in the Cauvery issue.

Fans of Rajinikanth are disappointed with Kamal Haasan for not talking in favor of Superstar in Kaala issue and they are criticizing the Makkal Needhi Maiam President for being selfish.
