At the Natchathira Vizha, Kamal Haasan answered on various topics including his ever confusing Twitter Tamil. “Kids include ‘Ka’ in their Tamil words to make sure that others shouldn’t easily get the right meaning. Sometimes, it’s good that some people are not understanding what I meant to say on Twitter”, said Kamal.
Kamal said that as a child artist in Kalathur Kannama, he only did what others asked him to perform and as a young actor, they called him as ‘love prince’ for his romantic movies but what he is currently addressing on social media platforms is the voice of the people.
On his sudden political entry, Kamal said he never wanted to dive into the water but situations pushed him. Though Kamal achieved a lot of things in the film industry, he considers Sivaji Ganesan’s presence in Thevar Magan his proudest moment. “Sivakumar Anna and I used to rehearse Sivaji sir and Kalaignar’s dialogues to test our Tamil prowess. But in Thevar Magan, Sivaji sir spoke the lines written by me”, said Kamal Haasan.
Kamal Haasan also firmly said that despite getting old, he will not follow any religion and continue to be a rationalist. “As a kid, my mom used to ask many astrologers about my future and all those experts told her that I would be useless. I proved them wrong and disappointed those astrologers”, said Kamal.
Ulaganayagan mentioned that he shouldn’t be remembered as a person, who came and went in people’s lives. The actor promised that he will work to earn the trust of the people and he would be there for them. Kamal also said that Tamil people should find a skilled leader and they shouldn't look for mere leadership.
Just like Rajinikanth, Kamal also said that he can’t forget the good old times he spent Rajinikanth during the shoot of Ninaithale Innikum in Singapore and Malaysia.
