Kamal Haasan agreed to remove certain scenes relating to the Holy Quran from Vishwaroopam, but that didn't sway the court!
The Madras High Court set aside yesterday's single judge interim order to lift the ban, and has reinforced the ban against Vishwaroopam.
Reportedly, the final verdict will be made on February 6, and till then Vishwaroopam will not be released in Tamil Nadu.
However, Kamal isn't taking this quietly. According to his lawyer, Bharat Raman, the case will now be taken to the Supreme Court.

Meanwhile, reports claim that a number of other films like David and Kadal may delay their releases to show solidarity with Kamal.
